Scrapbooking Baby Shower, what a great event!

Well before I go off talking about this "Oh! So Cute!," babyshower, let me remind you to look at the workshop slide show images posted on the top of my blog. Both South Miami and Miami Springs met this month and completed wonderful pages to add to their album. Both groups are growing and so is my team. I am excited to announce Joy Muñoz has joined my consultant team and will be managing the South Miami group for me, while I continue to manage the Miami Springs group. This has allowed me to open the doors to coordinate other workshop groups, so if anyone in the South Florida area is interested in being a workshop hostess to start a group in their area, I am just a phone call (or email) away.

Now, this baby shower! All I have to say is the mother to be is set for a years worth of memories. This shower took place in a tea room, so space and time was limited. 50 layouts were cut and individually packaged to make it easy for everyone to partake in the projects. I placed a basket with scissors, adhesives and journaling pens on each table and paired up the guests to work on double age layouts. I cut the layouts, added embellishments and titles accordingly. The mother-to-be selected Life's Delight Level 2 Paper Pack as her primary B&T. All holiday layouts used the colors accordingly with a hint of Life's Delight B&T to keep the pages coordinating.

About the guests and their assignment: Many felt insecure about putting together a scrapbook layout, but the mother-to-be took no excuses...LOL! Everyone worked on one page. A tag was given to each guest to dedicate the page they worked on. They all took their time to dedicate their page, so it was evident they all took pride in their contribution to the scrapbook. In total, the mother-to-be received 50 pages, and all were inserted in an album she had purchased to provide her with a year's worth of baby memories. Hats off to the smart mother-to-be. While the majority of scrapbookers out there are still trying to complete their child's first year album, this mother-to-be made sure she completed it all within one hour!
